no ill will towards the people developing this, but why is this a thing? the finobe website (and branding) just seems very weird
Mainly because the site got bought out a few months ago and the new owner wants it up (and the community), and so I get paid to maintain and keep it up and running. The Finobe branding was questioned by kinery in 2024 and he brought his concern to my attention, the 'branding' is just a theme that people use to feel more nostalgic and the community appreciates that option.

Why was this downvoted? jamrio is correct here. It feels like people are downvoting the question over the phrasing, than the meaning.
tobu was simply wondering why this revival has Finobe branding, than having an opinion that "This revival should not be there".
